For the angling family Hua Hin fishing lodge is great place to spend some time relaxing and fishing, less than 20 minutes from central Hua Hin it is possible to either use the lodges facilities and accommodation as a base, or alternatively stay in Hua Hin itself and take the short journey in for the fishing (transport is arranged). This fishing retreat has several comfortable bungalows, designed for those who want a change from beach holidays, so a family can relax in a safe peaceful environment whilst one or all fish. Unlike many of the fishing parks found in Thailand, with thousands of catfish, Hua Hin Fishing Lodge prides itself on the variety and condition, of the fish to be found in their two lakes. With a total of 39 different species, Hua Hin Fishing Lodge provides the angler with a great opportunity to catch Thai fish species that are often much harder to target at many of Thailand's Fishing Parks which are all too often dominated by Mekong Catfish. Just 10Km from the centre of Hua Hin the lodge is surrounded by peaceful countryside, so those not wishing to fish, can simply relax and take in the tranquility of the surroundings, again ideal for the family. Enjoy good Thai & Western food here from the Lodges extensive menu, wash it down with some cool beer or wine to celebrate your catch.

An interesting aspect of this fishing venue is that the fish have mostly all been reared from very small sizes, but are growing well and in the last two years the ponds are starting to throw up one or two bigger fish. However the average sizes range from 10lbs to 40lbs so it's a great spot for family fishing, little risk of the kids getting pulled in! The owners motto for his fishing venue is "fun for all, big and small!", and for us that says it all! A good place for the angling family.
