Borsang LakeFor those of you travelling up to Chaing Mai Bo-sang Lake can provide you with the classic Mekong Catfish experience Bosang Lake around 40 minutes from Chaing Mai, is a well established Thai Fishing Park, well known locally for some of the areas most prolific Mekong Catfish fishing. We are now able to offer this venue on day trips with the kind co-operation of a local guide who has been providing an excellent service to many visiting anglers for many years.Similarly to Bungsamran, when employing the services of a good guide on this venue, it is entirely possible to take up to twenty catfish in a day, with good average size of 15kg or so, upwards towards 40kg or more.
